Southern Oregon University
SOU’s Youth Programs
For more than 40 years, Southern Oregon University’s Office of Youth Programs has offered enriching and dynamic educational programs to youth from across the country. With a focus on cultural identities, academics, and community connection, our programs consist of summer camps, enrichment classes and workshops, regional academic competitions, and early college credit pathways.
We invite you to explore our opportunities today!
Academics & Competitions
With friendly competitions in math, trivia, and art, students can pursue their interests and meet new friends along the way. Additionally, college credit opportunities help students save time and money while in high school.
Cultural & Identity Programs
Thoughtful and intentional programming for youth who are a part of the Native American, Latino/a/x, and/or Black communities help to further enrich cultural and community bonds. These activities are offered in a variety of ways, including family events, after school meetings, overnight summer camps, and leadership conferences.
Summer Camps
Our camps offer a chance to stay on a college campus while in middle or high school. Take classes, experience Ashland, and immerse yourself in the SOU community!
