SOU Youth Programs
SOU Native & Indigenous Youth Programs
With a focus on strengthening the Native & Indigenous community ties, SOU Youth Programs supports two programs: All My Relations and Konaway Nika Tillicum. Evening programming and a week-long summer camp bring youth and their families from throughout the tribes and rancherias in Oregon and across the nation to celebrate and connect with their identity.
All My Relations
With a goal of providing connections within Native & Indigenous communities in the region, the All My Relations program started in 2020. Through All My Relations, virtual Longhouse events are held on a consistent basis, where storytelling, native crafts, health and wellbeing, art, history and community are created and shared.
Konaway Nika Tillicum
With roots dating back to 1996, Konaway Nika Tillicum is a recognized as a destination summer camp experience for students in the Native American and/or Indigenous communities. With a focus on students in grade 7-12, Konaway campers experience cultural classes, activities in and around the Rogue Valley, and are engaged with other students their age from across the nation.
