SOU Youth Programs
Summer enrichment, provided through ACADEMY and Summer Better Than Others, creates an engaging and inclusive environment. Students can choose between day classes or an overnight week-long experience. In both settings, students are encouraged to expand their horizons, learn new skills, and make more friends!
Academia Latina & Academia Leadership
Developed in 2000 as annual summer camp, Academia Latino brings students in grade 7 through 9 to the SOU campus for a week to participate in classes, explore the Ashland community, and learn and grow in their culture. With a desire to continue serving our youth, the focus expanded in 2013 to offer Academia Leadership, a 9-day overnight camp, to students completing grades 10 and 11.
