SOU Youth Programs
Youth Programs offer assistance to students from multicultural backgrounds through cultural and identity-focused events and gatherings. From All My Relations to the Black Youth Summer Institute, we bring students together to reinforce community connections and honor their cultural heritage.
Black & African American
Geared towards youth within the African diaspora, the overnight week-long summer camp, Black Youth Summer Institute, provides students with an opportunity to celebrate Black culture and community alongside their peers from across the region.
Latino/a/x
Our year-long Latino/a/x/ programming encompasses the following opportunities: Academia Latina & Academia Leadership overnight camps, César E. Chávez Leadership Conference, Pathways after-school programming, and Juntos en Familia & Dia Familiar Latino family events.
Native & Indigenous
We encourage our Native and Indigenous youth to take part in about our overnight summer camp, Konaway Nika Tillicum. Additionally, families can take part in All My Relations which offers year-long virtual engagement that focuses on learning, culture and community.
